head shot Being an actor is like walking on a tight-rope. If you can keep your balance and concentration and focus on each step forward without distraction you have the chance to accomplish something mystical, and make dreams seem possible. But, of course there are obstacles. And if you let those obstacles cloud your concentration, you begin to doubt. Doubt invites fear, fear invites failure, and next thing you know you are hurling towards earth listening to the crowd clammer "I knew he would never make it". It is not a career of chance or luck as many would have you think. Luck is created.... when preparation meets opportunity.

I have spent the last 15 years actively and diligently seeking training, and fighting on the front lines. I have seasoned my arsenal with a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University, by earning entry into Actors Equity Association, as well as Screen Actors Guild (professional unions for performing artists). I have shared the stage with many wonderful artists and further fortified my knowledge by following their guidance. I survived the battlegrounds of New York City. I travelled theatre to theatre up and down the east coast sharpening and honing my craft, eight shows a week, all the while plotting and planning for the big fight. Waiting for the call. Well, the horns have sounded, the fog is lifting, and the charge has begun. But wars are not won alone. Soldiers require support while in the field so that they can focus on the task at hand, and acheive the goal. So, I present you with the opportunity to enlist.

I have moved to Los Angeles. The entertainment mecca. The opportunities are great. The obstacles are endless. The cost of living is phenomenal, gas is at a premium, the highways oversaturated with distant dreams and Datsuns. To compete you must have a tight ship that needs constant upkeep. Talent showcases, pictures, resumes, gym memberships, photo business cards, trade publications, internet memberships to casting websites. Somewhere in there you have to hold down a "job" of some sort to creat revenue to pay rents, bills, buy food and gas. Then, with whatever time and energy you have left after fighting traffic, long audition lines, the posers and the pretentious, you try to preserve your artistic energy to create something that might spark an opportunity. An opportunity that you have spent years preparing for,

And then, inevitably, someone will say "Wow, that guy was so LUCKY!"

It took me a little time to find my balance out here, but I have found my footing and am on the attack, but it is hard to foresee the length of the battle in front of me and supplies are in constant demand. I NEED SUPPORT!

HERE IS HOW YOU CAN HELP.

I created the donation page on this website for those who would like to contribute to the cause. The cause is art with integrity and soul, that explores the human condition in hopes of further understanding our existance. And hopefully win an Oscar at some point while doing it!!!

Any donations put forth to this site will be applied to attaining this objective. Which may include, rental space to do theatre showcases, employment of stagehands, lighting or set designers for productions, marketing or advertising materials, printing new headshots and resumes, upkeeping a membership on a casting website, studio time for rehearsals and music production, gas for travel to and from auditions and work, gym dues to keep healthy, new headshots, upkeep and improvement of this website, and on and on. On this, you have my solemn promise.

In addition, whatever your donation is applied to, you will be sent a copy of the receipt along with details as to what aspect your donation was utilized. That way you can feel confidant in knowing that your support is being used most efficiently. I always maintain employment by both teaching acting at Columbia College of Hollywood, and of course, waiting tables or bartending.

I am not seeking a free ride here. But rather, help, in alleviating the distractions caused by trying to juggle so many variables while walking on this tightrope. To help me maintain balance, focus, and concentration on each step forward, in pursuit of accomplishing something mystical that will make dreams seem possible.

Donations of any amount will be employed and greatly and sincerely appreciated. Thank you for you gracious generosity.
